I really enjoyed the story that was present in the game because it kept me interested throughout and there were a few surprises thrown in as well. Each puzzle in the game has a lot of creativity within them and some of them really challenge you which makes completing them feel very rewarding. The stealth elements in the game fit the game’s style really well and they combine with the story creating even more of a tense experience. Technically the game doesn’t throw many problems your way and on the whole it performed well throughout my time with the game.
These stealth elements have been done well but they’re also frustrating as well because you will die a lot along the way. Thankfully though I didn’t get too frustrated and I’m glad I didn’t because the game throws up quite a lot of interesting and in some ways unique puzzles. In the end then Home Sweet Home does what it sets out to do perfectly and that is to scare you senseless whilst also creating an immersive experience and when it’s all said and done it’s a very good addition to the horror genre.
